Tupelo Honey Southern Restaurant Opening

The restaurant sought our agency for an eight-week project leading up to/following their grand opening, specifically the development of a public relations plan that includes media relations, relationship building with appropriate centers of influence, RSVP management for one event and community relations activities.

I assisted in landing the exclusive Dsm Weekly (approx. 10k readers) and secured coverage on the four top TV stations (CBS, ABC, NBC, CW). As well as updated our current media list to help get our client recognized on the #1 and #2 morning talk radio shows (Heather Lee, Lazer 103.3, Des Moines Radio Group) and the second (Need to Know with Jeff Angelo, WHO1040, iHeart)

 I helped meet capacity for Friends & Family (409 covers) in less than 36 hours. They had two VIP tastings where I recovered contact information for the event to be hosted by Mayor Cownie plus publishers, editors, food editors from every major publisher (The Des Moines Register, dsm Magazine, CityView). 

Outreach

I helped reach out to over 850 people to be invited to the opening of Tupelo which included the Chambers, non-profit boards, media, influencers, bloggers, and food enthusiasts.
